Sunday Sunday Sunday

Yes it is Sunday and YES tomorrow is the beginning of another work week. ughhhh!!

Well I had my second workshop last night and I think it went very well. I do believe everyone had a good time making their cards.

Today I wanted to try something different and found this cute CrissCross treat box so I just had to try it. I think it turned out so cute. It's 3" wide about 4-1/2" tall and 1" deep and as you can see it holds a cello bag filled with treats just perfectly. Used Stampin Up Kraft cardstock with Chocolate Chip for the band. Used the Brocade Swirl Roller and sponged all the edge. I love how it turned out.

Oh and this is to just let you know I will be in a craft show on April 24th in Glendale Heights. I will post more as the time gets closer with more information.

TGIF

OK Did I mention "Thank goodness it's Friday". Going to be a busy weekend I think. I have a workshop tomorrow night...that will be fun!! Then I am going to finish the tags I have been making for a friends wedding that she will be using on Terra Cotta Pots for the tables. She will be letting me know what she wants on her programs that I will be making to match the tags.

This is our busier season at work (said that cuz I'm always busy here) but even more so now getting ready for our Lawn Season. Working for a Landscaping company is great. Best job I have ever had. Great Company, Great People. Great Place to Work.

Been ordering alot of great things from Stampin' Up to make my workshops even better so if you live in Illinois (of course within reason) and would like to have me come over and show your family and friends how fun and easy it is to make cards and gifts, please contact me and we can work out all the details. Even if you think you can't do it, you should give it a try. Alot easier than it looks. I never took myself as a Card Maker but I think it's the perfect craft for any beginner or even seasoned crafters.

I hope everyone has a great weekend and I will try and get more things posted this weekend.

Tulip Card

Well this was my first attempt at a Tulip card that I saw on a video...I think it turned out pretty cute for the first one. I used the oval punch and the round scallop punch to make this. It was actually pretty easy once I got the hang of it. Finished it with the word window, modern label and teeny tiny wishes.

Hope you like it!!

3 x 3's again.

OK I know I have to get out of this 3 x 3 mode I'm in but they are so cute I can't help myself.

I used the Tart & Tangy stamp set in the 6 colors on Whisper White and ok I love these too.

I didn't put a greeting on these so they can be used for anything you want.

Adorable Elephants

Cute Cute Cute....I love these elephants from the "Out of the Box" Stamp Set and I am addicted to the 3x3 cards. They turn out sooooo perfect for easy cards to attach to gifts. And the Stampin' Up colors of ink and cardstock match just perfectly. The greetings are from the Trendy Trees stamp set.

This is so much fun!!

Flowers for the Season

I had fun making these and testing out my coloring skills. I think I stayed in the lines pretty well.

These adorable 3 x 3 cards were made with the Flowers for all Seasons stamp set minus the Christmas Poinsettias and I used ink and the blender pen to color them in. The {Friend to Friend} is part of the Teeny Tiny Wishes, a stamp set I really like alot.

I'm happy with the way they turned out and hope you are too.

Hope you enjoy whats left of the weekend and I'm sure I will post more as I get things done.

I'm getting ready for another workshop for next weekend and I am going to be in a craft show in Glendale Heights on April 24th so I will be busy preparing.

Top Notes Treat Box

Ok had to try this one and if I might say it was just alittle challenging but I did it. Using the Big Shot Top Notes Die, I made this cute little box that can be used to put a gift in for Mother's Day. I used the "A Flower for all Seasons" stamp set and inks and the blender pen to add some color. A little tissue paper and a nice bracelet or earrings or necklace and what mom wouldn't love receiving this. Hope you like it. I do wish I was a better photographer but I do my best so you get the idea.

Super Cute Gift Idea!!

Here is a cute idea for just alittle something extra for gift giving. These are 3 x 3 cards with envelopes that come in a cute little box I made that coordinates with the 6 cards and envelopes inside. Of course used all Stampin Up products which I love.
A perfect little Thank you!

Punch Purse Card

I was so excited to get the Round Tab punch today that I just had to make one of these adorable cards with purses. And what woman/girl doesn't love purses. I used the Patterns DSP in Ruby Red and the stamp set is Picture this Hostess gift from the Occasions mini. I just love this one!

Happy Together Card

This is the card that I used in my very first workshop and I do believe they loved making it. Using Certainly Celery, Basic Black and Whisper White, it turned out to be a simple yet adorable card.

Some more cute 3 x 3 cards

I really enjoyed making these cute little 3 x 3 cards using the Happy Together Stamp Set that is absolutely adorable. Love the colors too....Apricot Appeal, Sage Shadow and Perfect Plum. For the greeting I used Picture This.

That scallop circle frame just adds alittle something to an already cute card.

Tuesday, March 16, 2010

Here is a great way to show off those family pictures. Made with Chocolate Chip and Creamy Carmel Cardstock I used the Upsy Daisy Stamp Set, Well Scripted for the greeting and the Big Shot Top Note Die for the closer and used velcro to keep the flap closed. Inside are 5 clear Stampin Up envelopes that will hold up to 10 4 x 6 pictures.

Just the right size to carry some of your special photos around with you.

The Cutest Elephant Bookmark

I think this turned out just adorable. This easy bookmark was made with Night of Navy cardstock cut at 2" x 9" and scored at 4-1/2" and DSP from the Pattern Pack III. The Elephant stamp I used is from Out of the Box a Hostess Level 1 set and using the word Window Punch I stamped Way 2 go from the Picture This...another Hostess gift set.

I just think this one is cute.

Another Big Shot Top Note Purse Card

Here's another card made with the Big Shot Top Note Die Cut. These turn out so cute. Just to dress it up, I used one of the Boho Blossoms flowers and added a button with linen thread and used Vintage Brads to finish it off. I just love making these...they are soooo easy and cute.

Top Notes Purse Card

This card was so fun to make. I used Really Rust and Chocolate Chip Cardstock as my base colors and cut the cute purse using the Big Shot Top Notes die. Created the flower with the Boho Blossoms punch and finished it with a Whisper White Taffeta Ribbon for the handle.

How easy and adorable is this!!!

My First Workshop

Well I had my first Stampin Up workshop yesterday and I thought it went pretty well. Everyone had fun making their cards and it was nice I even got orders.

I had a great time doing it and it was easier than I thought it would be. Can't wait for my next on on March 27th. Already making plans for that one.

Been So Busy!

Well Happy Wednesday!!! This has been a busy week and will be an even busier weekend. I have my very first workshop as a New Stampin Up Demonstrator and we will also be celebrating my daughter's 22nd birthday. Boy is SHE getting old.

I have been working hard at making sure my first workshop is a success. I wanted to share with you a project that I did and have had so much fun making. These are mega paperclips that are about 3" long, I have decorated and now they can be used as bookmarks...they turned out adorable if you ask me. But of course who am I...so please leave a comment and let me know what you think of them.

I will be trying to post more things that I am making but some are for my workshop and I don't want to give away any surprises right now.

Hope you have a great rest of the week.

2-Step Stamp Sets are Wonderful!

I also did these cards with the 2-Step Stamp Sets and you would be amazed at how easy this technique is. Contact me and I will come and show you and your friends and family how these are done.

Some cute little cards

Here are two more sets of these adorable 3"x 3" cards that I made. Both sets are done with 2-Step stamp sets, Trendy Trees and Greenhouse Garden and I used the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp set for the greetings....absolutely Love these Stamps sets. The 2-Step stamps sets are so easy to use with the Stamp-a-ma-jig so if you want to learn more about how to make these cards now would be a great time to host a workshop.
